My name is Kay and I live in Dallas. I'm the mother of 5 wonderful children and am a recovering enabler (procrastinator, grammar hacker ... the list goes on!) The MOAT blog is a 2-fold effort. First, we have a revolution going in our house to move from entitled to equipped (much to my kids chagrin). So we provide comic relief that hopefully hits home with fellow MOATs. Second, the site hosts a guest blogger each week. This is really the meat and potatoes and a big reason the MOAT blog started. "Table Talks" provide an avenue for seasoned parents/experts to impart some wonderful tidbits of wisdom for moms (and several dads) in this stage of life.
